UbuWeb is a large web-based educational resource for avant-garde material available on the internet, founded in 1996 by poet Kenneth Goldsmith. It offers visualconcrete and sound poetry, film and sound art archives. Films by Johannes Maier are available for streaming on UbuWeb.

The film portrait about the sculptor Bettina Buck has been filmed and edited by Johannes Maier and Bettina Buck. The film was funded by the Art360 Foundation, London.

Finding Form, a posthumous monograph, presents Bucks complete sculptural works on over 300 pages and contains texts by Phyllida Barlow, Paolo Icaro, Cecilia Canziani, and Andrea Maria Popelka. The book was conceived and published by the artist’s estate, Bureau Bettina Buck (Martin Eberle and John Reardon). Johannes Maier was part of the editorial team.

Paul Becker is an artist and writer, collaborating on film work with Johannes Maier.

ARTSCHOOL/UK was founded in 2010 by John Reardon, Johannes Maier and Sabine Hagmann. Oliver Klimpel was part of the teaching team and responsible for the school's visual identity. ​Oliver Klimpel is Head of the Curatorial Workshop at the Bauhaus Foundation in Dessau.
